it's been awhile, but i haven't been remembering dreams for awhile. at least, here's a snippet of a dream: i was in a grocery store, waiting on a plane to england. there was a camouflage tent in the dairy section. curious, i went inside. there was an old man selling a handful of greens, some of which just looked like oak leaves and all of which he insisted were locally grown and better for me (been reading barbara kingsolver's new book, hmm). he was mumbling something about "critters everywhere" and then pointed to my eyebrows. i leaned forward and he brushed a tiny comb through my eyebrows and held a little petri dish below my face. then he gestured down into the petri dish and held up this tweezer-like magnifying lens to my eyes. in the dish were all these *angry* little bugs that looked like a cross between a scorpion and a spider, running around in eyebrow hairs. the old man seemed please that these things were in my eyebrows, but i was scared and woke up.
