a few nights ago i had a stressful dream, which i only recall the ending of, because it made me wake up screaming (which seems to be the only time i remember dreams now). i was in some town that resembled austin, and avram and i were looking for a place to live. we weren't having any luck, and i was driving down a street that looked like a nearby street, but not quite. i parked on the side of the road to look at a sort of abandoned looking building. when i was coming back to my car, i looked back across the street at the building. there was the raggedy and rather creepy looking pegasus romping around the building. it's rear half was covered in mud. it was running about like a stray dog, and i tried to get its attention. it started to cross the street to come to me when a bunch of traffic raced past. i gasped because i thought it might get hit trying to come to me. finally though, the traffic cleared up, and the pegasus came to me. it nuzzled its face to my hand, and when i saw its face, it looked strangely familiar and scared the heck out of me. i thought it was a bad omen of some kind to touch it, so i started trying to get into my car in a panic. that's when i woke up screaming, but it was an odd feeling, because i felt like i was watching an electrical storm while i was half in the dream and half aware of my body in "awake mode". then the electrical storm stopped and i could see the room and my arm was out as if i were still trying to put the key in my car door.
