several nights ago i had a telling bad dream. oddly, it started out a nightmare, but then became a very good dream.

the nightmare part i don't remember very well. i remember that i felt completely alone in some world that was full of people doing all kinds of things that i didn't relate to. i found a library, where i felt slightly better. there was a drum circle in the library, and i decided to join it. i felt okay while i was participating, but then a girl i knew from high school (who has recently appeared in another dream) showed up and completely took over. she was acting very arrogant and obnoxious, so i just walked away from the circle. i saw a door and went through it. it was a white room with large interestingly shaped windows on a circular wall. the windows all looked out over beautiful natural scenes. the wall connected to the library was flat, and in the door i had come through was a very small window. i was the only person in the white room, but i no longer felt lonely. i spent the rest of the dream looking out the interesting windows and periodically looking through the small window into the library. it no longer bothered me to see the world through the little window. i felt very peaceful.
